Who wants to have a read of my first ever go at scriptwritting?

Wrote this a few years back the scene just popped into my head, I kinda had a few things in my mind of where it would go after that and I found most of my ideas not to live upto this oppening scene, not bad for work from a year 9 I think, I've not edited it since then though I have had a read through :) enjoy x

Emily script

Opening scene:

(Opening with young Amy sitting in front of mirror you see her reflection first, tense music playing you can see her mouth moving as she is talking into the mirror then the camera twists round to see Amy laughing. Camera outside her room looking in at diagonal angle from low down looking diagonally up, seeing Amy from behind, door slightly ajar, then the mother will come into shot. Camera other side of door as mother puts her head through, camera back to Amy talking into mirror. Camera back on mother who opens the door fully, then camera behind both of them behind mothers shoulder as Amy looks round then back into the mirror. Harsh cold sound and then music stopped. Camera then on mother)

Mother: Amy sweetie, who are you talking to?

(Camera side on Amy)

Amy: My friend, (smiles into mirror while camera pans to mirror reflection and then back)

(Mother looking into mirror see’s normal reflection, looks concerned camera on Amy goes down from focus on her head to shoulders, camera back to mother)

Mother: What’s your friend’s name? (Uncertain smile)

Amy (camera on her as she turns for a second and then side view when she looks back into the mirror): Emily. (Smiles while music gets very very tense and the camera swaps to mother who looks terrified fast zoom to her from full view).

Mother: Where did you get that name? (Sounding scared)

(Amy ignores her still looking into mirror when camera is on her from behind; mother grabs her chair and tries to pull it round, camera side on when mother touches Amy’s check)

Mother: Where did you get that name? (Getting angry). Where!

(Amy just looks into mirror again. Camera on mother again you see her look into the mirror close up on face and then shot getting wider as she backs away she turns and walks out, stops camera skip to medium-close-up as she stops and holds onto the door frame for a second and looks scared and near crying, she walks out camera follows her, then low shot of her feet and legs until she gets on stairs and stops to cry. Camera back in Amy’s room facing mirror only the room reflected back in it big sound camera pans to chair where Amy sat before which is empty, we hear a shout and bang then camera from above the stairs looking downwards Amy not in shot, then we see the mothers body blood coming from her head music starts up, violins in minor key with raining stormy sound we see father from below rush over to her checking her pulse and then breaking down crying, we can hear crying but sound of crying is distorted, violin sound the prominent sound then view on Amy standing at the top of the stairs blank expression camera moving down facing her until diagonally looking up at her then skip to lightning outside)

Opening credits (fast paced rain in background with storm sounds and building tension music).
